I am delighted to offer copies of the following catalogs for sale. Many of the catalogs contain a variety of instruments, such as guitars, bowed stringed instruments (violin family), drums, novelty instruments, etc. All catalogs are available as either PDF files or as hard copies. I have added annotations when I felt the title was not sufficiently descriptive. These annotations describe the content of a catalog and resolution.
In 1996, I began scanning all pre-1932 catalogs in my collection (either original or photocopies). I used Photoshop to digitally remove blemishes, and repair torn pages. I did everything possible to produce images that are in every way superior to the original catalogs. Some pages required hours per page to clean and/or repair. I added no new information, or in anyway compromised the integrality of the original material. Even so, some flaws remain.
For persons or institutions owning copies of historical (pre-1932) catalogs that wish the titles of their catalogs to be included in the master list, please contact me by regular mail and include your email. I will get in touch with you. My address is below. The citation will include your institution's name so that readers might contact your institution to buy copies of the catalog. The citation in my bibliography will include your institution's name so that readers will be able to contact your institution to purchase copies of the catalog.
To order one or more CDs, please provide the company name and title of the work in your letter. CDs are generally $10 and include shipping costs. Prices for printed copies will be based upon page count. Each printed catalog will arrive with card stock covers and a spiral binding to insure years of use. All pages will be printed with a laser printer on acid free paper. For printed copies, the shipping cost will be sent prior to delivery. To order the entire printed database of titles, please mail a letter to me. Include your email address and indicate your desire to purchase the database. Currently, the database is 168 pages and will arrive with card stock covers and spiral binding.
I will ship to the U.S. and Canada only. Personal checks will be accepted. I will ship your order after the check clears.
Send a letter to the address below and indicate what material you desire. Also include your email address and I will contact you. I have had to discontinue taking orders via the Internet to avoid spammers.
Thank you.
