Index of Selected Articles
from Violin and Violinist
prepared By Peter H. Adams
October 4, 1991
Preface
The purpose of this cross-referenced, selectively annotated index is to provide bibliographic control of articles related to musical instruments and persons. Currently, no complete index of this publication exists. Subjects indexed here include (but are not limited to): identification, history, and construction of musical instruments (mainly string instruments); violin makers; collections of musical instruments; makers of instruments; John Philip Sousa; improvements to musical instruments; and materials needed to make musical instruments (such as varnish, and wood).
I completed this index in too short a time given the limitations of graduate school. As such, I hope that this flawed index will be of value.
This index was formatted for double columns.
